What genre/s do you write in? I write romance, horror, sci-fi, thriller, and some Gothic
How long have you been writing? I’ve been writing since I was in 3rd grade. I got praised by Jonathan Rand who writes Michigan and American Chillers and was published in a Poetry book.
Do you have any published books or articles? Tell me a bit about these and what publishing route you took.
At the moment, no, but I have one of my stories ET Love on Wattpad and I did have many more stories up on my old account that grew popularity. (Like “Save Me”), but I am with a publishing firm.
Did you use an editor? If so who? No, I actually used the Notes app on my phone and just write from there.
Did you use a book formatter and cover designer? Yes, I use Canva for my books.
Did you self-publish or get traditionally published? How did this go for you? Not yet, but I plan to. I might start off with Kindle first.
What social media and writing platforms would you recommend? I recommend Wattpad and Grammar.ly.
Do you use an agent? Not yet.
Do you use paid advertising? If so what? Nope.
Do you have a blog or website? Not yet, but I’m hoping to once I can get ET Love published.
What inspires you most to write? Stephen King is my biggest inspiration, along with Shakespeare.
What do you do to help with writers block? I read other books.
How do you plan your writing and start? I plan by first coming up with the concept in my head then planning beginning, middle, end before the small details.
Is writing your full time job? If not what else do you do? It’s just a hobby. I work at McDonald’s and make music with my girl group, ROSEGOLD.
What are you working on at the moment? Im working on the reboot to ET Love, which is popular amongst my friends.
What is your target audience? Teenagers/young adults
How long does it take you to write a book? It can take months or years, ET Love took 10 months, so far.
When did you first discover you enjoyed writing? It was on a boring Spring Day after school.
What is your writing schedule look like? If I’m not too caught in things, I write.
What does your family think about you writing? They love it and they think I’ll be the next Stephen King.
What do you do when you are not writing? I make music, work, watch TV, just hang out really.
Where do you get information and ideas for your writing? I get them from my favorite stories and other authors
What do you think makes a good story? If the story is captivating and has a unique concept that won’t bore the readers, I think that’s a good story.
